Chris Isaak -- "Wicked Game" ... I'm pretty sure this was the point in my childhood when I realized girls most definitely do NOT have cooties.

I was going to mention Fiona Apple's "Criminal" but got beaten to it.

I also liked Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" ... the video rocked. The song, eh, well now I can't stand it.

Madonna's "Like a Prayer" needs some love.

Hmmm, what else that hasn't been mentioned ... Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" ... REM's "Losing My Religion" ... and Aerosmith/Run DMC "Walk This Way" were all favorites of mine.
