Re: Hand To Talk About
Haven't read the replies yet, so here goes. I'd play the hand hoping to flop a big hand as the way you played it would never work in my games ($8-$16 HE at the Bike). The players at my level are just not good enough to lay a hand down. Sometimes it seems I'm playing River Lotto.

Re: Hand To Talk About
Mason,
Q: How would this hand played out if the the opponent just called your flop bet instead of raising? Would you have bet again on the turn? Q: Let say you bet on the turn since there was no resistance on the flop, would you have folded to a turn raise? I am really wondering about the opponent that waited to the river to fold. I mean the pot was pretty huge on the end. Thanks, --loki |
Re: What do you put him on?
In my game (see post near end) I make the play only if I have the hand I'm representing because I'll get it paid off with AQo even without the suited ace. Your play crosses my mind, but I sure know better (98% of the time) in my game. Hopefully I reach your level in a few years. In the mean time I'm having the time of my life where I'm at. Thanks.
