Hey dicelumpy, just to clear the air, I didn't make that post about having a negative impression of dealers... I know most dealers are good. In fact, I bet juanez is a good dealer too, he seems to know a lot about the game, I just don't see eye-to-eye with him on this issue.

What is the deal here, folks? Juanez is telling anecdotes about morons who play in his poker room. They are amusing or interesting. They even have a moral, if you read them right. Usually that moral is: "don't be an idiot like this guy".

Anyone thinking this is unprofessional is being naive. People enjoy juanez's posts for the same reason they enjoy reading books like Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential or books by mobsters turned informants. They want to know what insiders think about what's going on in their "industry". It's entertaining and informative.

I'm sure many people here read Linda Geenen's blog. Hell, she names names and identifies players while describing their antics all the time. It's not only a good read, it gives insight into what dealers are thinking while we players are acting like donkeys and babies.

I hope juanez, Al Jr., and the other poker staff keep these stories coming.
