this is my story

i get out the middle of this month with full medical and other stuff (retirement pay) from the AirForce, because i was injured on active duty.

email me at someonewhowrites@yahoo.com
there are alot of veterns benifits where they will pay for all your school, and pay you togo school, and pay for books, basically pay for everything, i have learned all this because i enrolled in it.

other than that its my plans exactly, starting around x-mas time im gonna see how long i cam make it playing until i have to find a job

and dude you can make it threw those boring 8-10 hour days of lectures, through out tech school (mine was over 6month 5 days a week) im sure you can read some books by yourself and force your self to learn the game at a high level

Good Luck

The thing is that if you are making 70K in a decent career and take time off to take a shot at poker, it will be very hard to find a job since you will have to explain why you left your previous job. No job that pays that much will let you take that kind of leave since you are needed (as evidenced by the 60 hours worked per week). Careers that pay 70K+ don't like people who quit, for whatever reason.

Oh come on man, how old are you? I don't like the attitude of your post.

Moving from job to job is not the kind of black mark that it once was. It's not the norm to stay with the same place for 25 years like it might have been oh, say, 1960.

It depends on what youre doing but you should be able to come up with a good story. If I had been a programmer (say, I skipped law school), my reason for leaving could be I went out on my own in business. Do a little something on the side 5-10 hrs / week so you can account for yourself on your resume and maybe so you don't get so sick of cards.

That way you've got a good excuse.
