Go to UltimateBet. They have playmoney heads up tables. Obviously look for off-peak hours. If there's a 10/20 game with two people, explain to them you have a bet on your match and ask if they'd mind leaving so you can play.[

I've got a better idea. FoxwoodsFiend contacted us at PokerStars and asked if we could work something out. I asked our tourney guru Henry Estes if he could help. He put together a special tournament for you folks so you can have your heads-up matches exactly as spec'd.

I'm sure that FoxwoodsFiend will have the details for you, but believe me, the place to play these matches (and all your poker) is at PokerStars.

Lee,

Whitelime was the one who contacted you. Either way, he posted about the tables and they are going to be where we play our matches. I hope that whitelime told you that we will need this set up for at least a month.

Either way, your helpfulness and responsiveness have been greatly appreciated. Your help making this tournament practical reflect a commitment to customer service which far exceeds that of any other site.

Yeah. Whitelime posted about this in a thread titled "Pokerstars Reply for the HU Tourney"

Ok, sweet, I'm looking forward to this.

There is definitely a high probability that some of these games are gonna drag on and on for hours. I do think the aforementioned method of resuming at a later date with a simple chip dump is fine.

Just so I don't clog up this forum with yet another thread, how can I watch these? Are there going to be announcements of when the matches will be played?

Another thing to keep in mind is that the chip-dumping strategy can be a good way to circumvent the rebuy period rule (i.e. if the rebuy period comes close to ending, people should probably write down chip counts, end the tournament, and then restart a new one, so that the rebuy option never expires...).

In the practice games I've played, both parties just added on right at the start.

FeNeF- yes, probably. Games start tonight.
