My beef with men and sandals:

I just find it indignant for some reason, I think they're feminine, not to mention some sets of toes that really just shouldn't be exposed.

I know it's nothing rational really, just how I've always thought about it.

What about sandals with socks, that annoy anyone at least?

EDIT: I'm speaking about New England really, at the beach I think its fine.

yes sandals with socks r for the most part retarded....but living in the south most people own quite a few pairs of sandals....girls and guys

hell for half the summer out on the lake hardly anyone wears shoes at all...and when u gotta jump out of the boat to get something or run in the store u dont wanna sit down and put socks AND shoes on...most people go "throw me my sandals"

I'd rather just go barefoot then wear sandals.

Try riding the NYC subway system in the summer and being assaulted by man feet left and right. Not exactly a picnic, my friend.

yeah i figured you were from the northeast when you were against it, i lived up there for awhile and nobody wore sandals and i thought it was weird since thats all anyone wears in the 110 degree heat in tejas.

FWIW, when i rode the subway i wore shoes too, not b/c of what other people would think though .

like bill hicks once said "christians do some strange things...a lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a [censored] cross? It's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a rifle pendant."

I was going to quote this. Great line.

Rich Jeni does a funny bit about a guy wearing sandals on an airplane.

"Why are you wearing sandals?"
"I'm comfortable!"
"Well, I'm not, Spartacus!"
"Well, my feet need to breathe!"
"So do the rest of us!"
