There is no better argument to be made that poker is highly addictive than the sight of a player with his hot girlfriend sitting behind him bored out of her mind.

This is the correct play. Stake her for a 2/4 or 3/6 session and play at her table. Future trips you can probably play higher limits while she donks it up at 2/4.

i am going to try to get her to do this, but she can be really shy sometimes and i forsee nervousness.

if i sat with her i'm sure she'd suck out on me (not in the good way) in every hand we're in! (at least if it's my own money i'd only be losing the rake)

the spa has moved up in my book, as well as introducing her to microlimit games online. she has interest, so maybe an hour watching me play will light a fire under her ass.

Not an issue in most rooms. Onlookers have included homeboys, grandmas and other significant others. If you want to be polite, ask the player sitting next to you if he/she doesn't mind a stranger sitting behind you -- it makes some players nervous...
