I'm not going to go through every post, but i'm sure both pulp fiction and garden state are mentioned.

but, surprisingly enough, Clueless- great soundtrack, also "Songs from teh Capeman" which was a terrible broadway play but all the music is by Paul Simon....good [censored].

probably "The Power of One" - an film about South Africa - several tracks later ended up being reused for the Lion King.

also "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"

Last of the Mohicans is probably the best soundtrack I have. I also like the Rocky IV soundtrack.

Kay, I've hit the twilight zone. I listened to these on the way to work, really digging them, and they inspired the OP...
