One important. Boom Boom is leading us to a bar, we wind up walking about 12 blocks past times square including walking past at least 6 bars and we all said that it better have the best beer ever. the beer wasn't bad but we walked all that way and it wound up being a Big Steve style lifestyle bar. nice Boom Boom, real nice.

Huh? Dude, just because the waiter is gay doesn't mean it's a gay bar. Also, I didn't pick the bar. If you recall, once we got to ninth I said, you guys just pick one and we'll go in.

You'll get more bunkfest photos when we see one with you and cookie monster.

You asked for it. This picture is probably huge, but it is my daughter, wife, and Cookie Monster. The look on my daughter's face pretty much sums up my vacation.

I was very happy to meet some of the people. Special thanks to my teammate Adam (forgot your 2p2 name, sorry) who saved us from my Omaha/8 final table disaster to rescue us from the bubble. He then ran into top set 3-handed in the HE rotation and we were out.

Also I was called a fish by Klepton after I busted him out in 0/8. Nice to meet you Carlo. Thank you so much to Bunky and TT who made the people who didn't know anyone feel welcome and Max Power and everyone else i met.

I had a great time, making the money just made it that much better. That was my first time playing triple draw, Poker327 gave me a quick tutorial before the first orbit, seems like a fun game. I got to sit to TT's left as he raised seemingly every hand and knocked out half the table one orbit.

I will reiterate the thanks to Bunky and TT for putting this whole thing together, it was a great time.

Poker 327, who I had just met briefly, picked me as his partner. It was decided that I would play Stud8 (of which I had never played a single hand before) and O/8 (of which I had about 300 online hands of practice). Yet, through my aggressive folding technique and poker327's excellent third draw drawing at TDL 2-7, we managed to make it to the final table. I survived 2 all-ins at Stud/8 at the final table so that poker 327 could come to bat at O/8 and TDL. When we got down to 4 teams we were the second shortest stack. Had I been playing I probably would have tried to fold my way into the money. To his credit, poker 327 actually decided to play two good TDL starting hands in an effort to win us some chips but unfortunately missed his execellent draws twice and we bubbled out in fourth.

It was nice meeting everyone. As far as I knew at the time, once it was the final four I thought we were the short stack, otherwise I would have folded as well if I could of, but the blinds were so steep you had to pick a hand or two and play them out. I was bummed out a bit after the tournament, and I didn't feel like playing any side games, so I left early.
