Maybe you could try tabulating the results discarding all "1" votes. Because they dont fit in with the distribution and they're just homer anti-votes.

"1" anti-votes are no different than "10" fan-boy votes, IMO.

I don't follow your statement that "1" votes don't fit in with the distribution. A normal curve is not a requirement of this kind of distribution of votes.
