Not everything is funny, and hardly anything is funny enough to laugh out loud about. I think I have laughed out loud about five times in my entire life (what can I say, you people aren't funny). So please, the next time your opponent hits his 15 outer on the river, refrain from typing 'lol'. The next time some douchebag types 'zzzzzzzzzz' when a player foolishly decides to think before acting, do not type 'lol'. The next time someone types 'lol', do not encourage them to continue doing so by typing 'lol' yourself. If you are actually laughing out loud because sometime typed 'lol', you have some serious problems. Do not type 'lol' unless you are actually laughing out loud, and even then do not type 'lol'. Instead, type something like 'I believe I just shat my pants'. And if any of you wiseasses respond to this rant by typing 'I believe I just shat my pants', then you are merely an 'lol'er' in disguise (can you see why?) and I will be sorely disappointed for my rant will have been for naught.

For me LOL means,

'If I wanted to socialise do you think I'd be sitting at home staring at computer screen. I'm here to take your money and your attempt to talk to me has come at a bad time as I have a tough laydown to make at another table. However, I don't want to make it totally obvious that for me poker is not a game and the l and o are next to each other on my keyboard so I suppose I'll make an effort. Now stfu and let me think.'
