Does anyone know when this bonus period officially started?? I made a withdrawal on Monday... hope I am still eligible...

You should be all set. I withdrew funds about 75 minutes prior to their last bonus offer because I had no idea a bonus was in the works. I contacted Stars support and had no problem redepositing and qualifying for the bonus since it was prior to (if only by minutes) the bonus offer being announced.

I think OP may have made a small typo, for which he should be easily forgiven. The 7 and 4 are right next to each other on the numerical pad.

It's the 27th according to BW.

No, Stars made the error in their e-mail. But it's correct in the pop-up (27th) when you start the client.

this bonus clears in 30 tournament entries which are $2?

[/ QUOTE ]

You need 600 points to clear a $600 deposit ($120 bonus). You get 5 points for every $1 paid in tournament fees. So if you are playing $20+2, you get 10 points per tournament, and you would have to play 60 of them to clear it.

Essentially, while you are clearing a bonus at Stars, you are getting 100% rakeback on tournament fees.

Are we talking sit & gos or the large multitable tournaments? If I play in a sit & go with a $2 fee do I still get 10FPP's? Thanks for the help.

[/ QUOTE ]

You get 5 points per $1 fee at any tournament or SnG. For low level players, the $5+0.50 SnGs or the $6+0.50 Turbos are the best deal. You should get 2.5 points for those, but they round it up to 3 points. Other than those, it is long and tedious to clear a Stars bonus at the lower limits.

what you mean 43 fpps over 400 hands at .5/1 is slow.....oh well, I was playing there anyway. Might as well get some free money.

I haven't tested this, but it should be 200% rakeback equivalent at the $1+.10 MTTs, 160% at the $1.50+.25 Turbo SnGs, 150% at the $3+.30 MTTs, and 120% at $5+.50/$6+.50.

I haven't tested this, but it should be 200% rakeback equivalent at the $1+.10 MTTs, 160% at the $1.50+.25 Turbo SnGs, 150% at the $3+.30 MTTs, and 120% at $5+.50/$6+.50.

I'm not sure how low they go with those tournament fees and points. The Stars site says a $0.25 fee earns 1 point, where at a 5-1 rate it should be 1.25 points. Three points on a $0.50 fee is 120% rake back.

I tested this in a $1.50+0.25 2 table SNG. I only received 1 FPP, so they don't always round up. I paid an extra nickel of rake for nothing! I feel so ripped off. OTOH, it was time well spent: My average ROI for $1.50+0.25 tournaments is now 209%, and my average ROI for 5-table $1+0.20 SNGs is now 1067%. Time to turn pro.
