Wow, if Daniel N really said this (I certainly have no reason to doubt Mr. Greenstein), then it shows being great at poker requires no ability to think rationally outside of calculating odds and reading betting patterns. I suppose that's no surprise, but it's nevertheless weird to see brilliance in one realm co-exist with utter ignorance and/or irrationality in another.

Isn't Daniel a high school drop-out? That may help explain his apparent ignorance of very basic science.
