Re: 3rd Break

14,500 at third break - after moving my (decent) stack into the aggressive BB's pocket Kings with A5 and NOT catching.

OK, I shouldn't complain - I'm only here (bubble time) because my 92 all-in called by BB's JJ caught trip deuces on the flop

GL to whoever is left.

Best,

McMelchior (Johan)

Hey, I saw you before. What's your nick?

Also the guy with 18 chips moved in with A7 and was called by 95. Flop, 955.

Re: 3rd Break

Our own PGA crippled my 25K stack to 7K when I pushed A4 on the button into his rockets. Then few hands later with BB at 3K UTG Raises to 12K and MP pushes for 27K I think. I call off my chips with 99. Figured no better time to basically quadruple up. UTG Calls with AJ MP has AK and im happy. Flop is rags and things look good until the turn A and im done. Ohh well. GL PGA.

Out #190 ... every friken time I made a move with Ax (including AQ), the BB would turn over KK ... aren't you supposed to catch an Ace (without BB rivering a K) just once in a while ?

Good luck to those still in.

these last two levels really change it (from watching it) it it just a push/fold fest. Not as interesting as it was when it was capped at 20k/40k

armen is doing a great job of staying alive

more like 'hmm, I'll fold getting 10:1, go down to 2K with 40K blinds and then wait for kings which will inevitably come, over and over and over again' (not counting the time he had 75 and beat aces on a JJ8 board)

I'd pay good money for that guy's luckbox.

some of those folds were insanely bad. I think he folded getting 30-1 on the antes.

and entertaining.
he has moved up for 4335 to 11,476, and was a card away from 16.5k.
whoever busts before him must be pissed, DMD must be in a hot spot right now.

That guy needs to get his dick off the shift button. I hope some of them other three got the balls to back out on that annoying emilie.

fantastic call there by Capit, but as long as he was calling he should have pushed.

Re: Seriously

Agreed. But a wonderful call.

shejk 08-14-2005 11:47 PM

Re: Seriously

I don't know about that? If he think it's like 55/45 that he's beat it gotta be better to just call, eh? It's not like emilie would fold AT to another 200-300k.

Indeed, he owned the final table. Bonus points for saying no to the deal because he was more skilled and then taking it all down.

young nut 08-14-2005 11:58 PM

Re: Seriously

Does anyone want to confirm the fact that el capitano is Marcel Luske. I found this interview:

luske interview

from the article: "David: Do you play online much and if so, where do you play and what name do you use?

Marcel: I don't play to much online and if l do then l play most likely 'exclusive fan' or 'el capitano' in my office…Noah Boeken who has just won the Copenhagen EPT event, helped me online a little as he was playing online a lot. He is living above my office in Amsterdam so we do exchange some poker information…like online info for life tournaments info.…"

KneeCo 08-15-2005 12:01 AM

Luske?

no sh!t!
Someone should track down emile and let him know.

Good post

FT

That FT was without a doubt the worst one I have ever witnessed. First off you have Armen13 folding with 800:1 odds and [censored] when the next payout is +5k, but if he actually doubles up he has a chance at 127k. Finally, that luck box goes down the way Danny Nguyen should have.

Next, you have that stupid ass emilie who can't figure out where the caps lock key is on her keyboard trying to ram a deal down capitano's throat when you could clearly tell capitano was the best player at the table.

Then we have Jeffray who tilts off all his chips after losing 3/4 of his stack when he tries to bluff capitano with what I can only guess was a set of Kings.

The culmination was a great call by capitano with the pair of aces on the 678AJ board after emilie was showing aggression the entire way. After that it was over because capitano had 5/7ths of the chips in play and was by far a superior player than the other 2...barring any extreme bad beats he was all but guaranteed first. Whether it be Marcel Luske or someone else...he played fantastic.

DrNo888 08-15-2005 01:18 AM

Re: FT

I dont think it was Marcel Luske. At one point during the FT, he spammed a website for selling W$ and was told by support not to do it anymore.

That was a great decision not to accept that crappy deal. Emilie knew it and was pushing it hard. I was like "STFU and play bitch".

SeppDeitrich 08-15-2005 06:51 AM

Re: Seriously

not surprising that he would not deal, the guy is Marcel Luske!!!!
