I have chat, I've just been anti-social lately and put "No Chat" for my location when I turn player/obs chat off.

How do you make a $50 buy in tourney with only $1 vig?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because we're elite!

Seriously, when this was started it was one of the first, if not the very first, private tournament Stars allowed. Since then, we've been given special treatment by Lee Jones and the management at Stars and they cut us this special break. All our tourneys are $1 vig. To end the year I should give a shout out to Stars, still the best software and support on the net, for allowing us this break and for hosting our event going on our fourth year!

Also how do you alter the starting stacks like that?

Normally, all KotZ events are T1500 w/ 20 minute levels. Our Championship for today features 2500.

Murphy's Law of Holdem: If there's just one hand that can beat you(actually 2 in this case)they will have it. So much for my experiment to defend more on the blinds.

I guess I mean do you have a drop down box or empty box were youu can choose whatever amount of starting chips you want? I dont have options to choose starting stacks thats why I was wondering.

BTW, just signed up for mailing list.
Thanks.

Sorry, misunderstood your question in the first response. I don't set these up using the Stars interface. Stars support sets it up special for us with whatever we want. We have basically been "grandfathered" in since they always had to do this before they supported user created, private tourneys.

We can run any format Stars offers and we are taking advantage of that next year with a double shootout, two rebuys, two 6-player events and two T2500 tourneys. Hope you can join us for next year's race for the trophy.

Yeah, that was a tough one, Toro. I was praying that you caught a piece of that and would raise me on the turn. Nothing like a nice Stars cold deck to end the season, huh?

Not much of a climax here, he basically had this wrapped up months ago. He just finished 9th, but UncleDuke had already made an early exit when he had to win to have any chance and we have a NEW KING! Here is what his majesty will be receiving (courtesy of our sponser www.rakerebatereview.com):
