one other factor is if she orgasms. There is a higher percentage due to the contractions that the sperm makes it into the cervex.

Apparently a human female and eject 35% of total sperm cells within 30 minutes of impregnation...however, it still only takes one...

The key piece of information is what day of her cycle did you shoot.

She has to be ovulating to conceive, IIRC. This generally occurs around day 14 from her last period. If you are +/- 1 day of this date, I would be worried. If not, you are probably ok.

I'm not a doctor, but after a few trips with the wife to OB/GYN, you tend to ask questions.

I'm pretty pissed off though. She told me she was on birth control last week, then after tonight she goes "oh, I've been off the pill for a while, I thought you knew." Then she acts like I did something wrong.

This crap sucks. The problem with this type of behavior is that she lied about being protected and then trys to blame you. The worst thing about it is that the courts will blame you too if she is preg-O and hit you with child support. Dump this lying bitch.

The true femanist would say that it is still 100% your responsibility and make you pay, but that would be like punching holes in a condom and having sex and blaming her if she got pregnant.

"Also, does the size of the load you shoot matter? It seems like a smaller load would be better for not getting pregnant, which would be good for me. "

I'm no fertitity expert, but it only takes 1 sperm.

Your sperm count can vary drastically from one time to the next based on many factors. Actual size of the load doesnt necessarily matter. If you have a really low sperm count, she is much much less likely to get pregnant. Its only one sperm that gets the job done, but there has to be a ton of them for it to happen, her bodys natural defenses will attack and kill sperm.

Also apparently you can have too high of a sperm count and that makes it harder to get pregnant. Dont ask me why, this is just what my friend who worked at a fertility clinic told me.

Well, my wife and I used the rhythm method for a while, so here's what I think based on just a little research.

Assuming good fertility:

During cycle prime time, like 20%
During cycle off time, around 5%
During like, ewww, her period, like <1%

Weighted average if you don't know where in her cylce she is, its probably just under 10% I'm guessing.

If fertility is low for one or both parties, these numbers would drop by a factor of ten or more.

This is pretty much the correct answer. All the other probabilities are due to other factors like how regular she is, genetic abnormalities in the zygote, her physical condition, etc. But first that egg has to be there and the sperm has to get there at the right time. If those two conditions are met, then bingo!

My wife knows her body very well and can tell you EXACTLY when she will get pregnant. First time. Sounds like this woman doesn't know/doesn't care, which means anything is possible. Take precautions.

The morning after pill is crazy expensive. Save yourself a few bucks and use this:

Works like a charm every time.

It takes more than one sperm to fertilize an egg. The stuff (acrosome) in the head of the sperm that breaks down the membrane of the ovum is not enough to break thru the membrane with just a singular sperm cell.

Also, if you have <20,000 sperm during an ejaculation, then you are considered sterile because not enough sperm will likely reach the ovum to fertilize it.

Yeah, but if there are 100,000 sperm in a little load and 1,000,000 sperm in a big load, then there is a 1/100,000 chance that a sperm will get there in the small load and a 1/1,000,000 chance that it will get there in the big load, so obviously it's more likely in the small load.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Astro, move this to Probability.

[/ QUOTE ]

If that is how you think I really want to be playing against you in poker.

Size of load does matter as does the size of your member. If you are extra long and have a big load you are more likely to get someone pregnant than someone with a small member and load. But that does not mean that you could not get someone pregnant.

Both of my kids were from having sex on the last day of her period (I had DNA test done to prove it).
