I just don't understand why New York doesn't like ARod? All the papers act like he didn't deserve it and should have been given to someone else. Damn yankees (northern people, not the actual team)

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's something to do with the fact that he has not yet succeeded in the playoffs yet, and that is a big strike against him. That being said, I'm glad he's a Yankee. Sooner or later he's going to come around, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

He has succeeded in the playoffs. His playoff numbers are better than Jeter's.

Would those be his playoff #'s with the Yankees? Because I don't think NY cares what he did with Seattle.

Yes, Arod has been better in the postseason as a Yankee than Jeter.

Wow, this statement almost has me contemplating my first ignore user.

As a Yankee fan who respects both of these players, I vehemently disagree.

However, Jeter has had much more of a sample size.

As someone who has looked at the stats (and watched the games), I know I am right.

A-Rod is 18 for 65 (.277) post-season as a Yankee. One great series, one mediocre one, one bad one.

Have you been looking at the stats and watching the games since 1995?
