I stayed in sweet hotels on Las Ramblas in Barcelona that were pretty cheap. I would highly recommend Barcelona for anyone who likes food, drink, and hot chicks.

I spent some time in Spain and came to up with the theory explaining why all Spainish women have a nice ass. Less cars and more hills and nice pants.

Also, they smoke non-stop which helps kill their appetite. That was the only negative I found with girls in Spain.

its so amazing to me how so many people on these boards can make their living on the internet and not live abroad. ive never been to europe, but i am 99.9% sure that its more enjoyable then all but a few US cities.

A lot of people have lots of friends and family they are very close to and love being around.

Visas can also become an issue if you are not providing anything "useful" to the economy.

Let me know a couple months before you head to Prague and I think I might just try to work it in.

I still can't believe you had to leave Europe the day I invited you to come to Prague. Timing is a bitch!

Re: want to back to italy, then/or maybe prague, other places in europ

I was in Krakow and Prague last summer, and here is a brief trip report....(warning...%ages exaggerated for effect)....80% of the people in Prague were American tourists. I was there in 98/99 also and it was more like 25%. Krakow05 was about 10% American tourists, so it's not quite yet the "new Prague," but it's on its way.

Three random points.....
1. I agree with edtost that Ljubljana is great.
2. I dig the small little towns along the way, like Cesky Krumlov, Cesky Budejovice (only for the brewery....no other redeeming value), Opole, Bratislava (bigger than a small town, but holy cow we had a huuuge sausage and beer fest for about $7 per person), ....
3. Even though Prague is quickly learning the art of "capitalism", U Medvidku (I don't care if some people label it a tourist trap) has some 'wedding feast' meal thing with tons of food and a cheap price tag.
