Take your time. You don't want the book looking like some 7th grader wrote it. Well, I guess that never stopped you before.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cheap shot. Haven't you read the disclaimers at the beginning of each book? You know, the ones that basically say "we play poker, we not write goodly."

No excuses!

I underestimated how much time doing the magazine, getting married, moving, etc. would take, and I haven't had as much time to work on it as I had hoped. Believe me, it's my #1 work priority, and it will be done in a reasonable amount of time.

Please, I'm tired of the old "I have a life" excuse. Get cracking!

Do you have an estimated TOA? Some of us have holiday wish lists to get together.

They should do a Pot-Limit Hold'em book next since many pros are saying that Pot-Limit Hold'em requires more skill than No-Limt Hold'em.

[/ QUOTE ]

Who plays pot limit holdem though?

[/ QUOTE ]

Every European player for a start. There are quite a few people in Europe you know...

Honest to God. You got married when you should have been working on the book??????

Please, have some consideration for other people.

Is there some way we can "sticky" an announcements thread so that the same question doesn't get continually asked over and over again?

Hi Everyone:

I meant to say:

"When the manuscript is done," not "The manuscript is done. Notice the change in meaning.

Best wishes,
Mason

Ouch- that's a step backwards lol

I was wondering about this, Mason

I couldn't see the manuscript being done and not having an estimated TOA already for the book.

Any rough estimates? Any chance it will be available before holiday shopping, or should I take it off my list?

Not to be a jerk - I have most of the 2+2 books - but is this book necessary? HOH/TOP/HPFAP/SS give me everything I need to play NL cash or tourneys. I can't imagine there is any new concept out there.

Just make +EV plays and you're fine.
