AA from the CO, folded to me, I raise 4xBB to 120, SB min-re-raises me, I re-raise to 600, he pushes, I call, he has the other two aces. SWEET.

QQ UTG, I raise to 120, folded to BB who re-raises to 500. I call. Flop comes with an A, he bets, I fold. Nothing else I can do there, right?

According to the prize page they're giving away ~$27,000 in prizes. That's around $18 per person, not counting no-shows.

For a freeroll that didn't require any play or much effort I think this is a really generous prize pool and a cool thing for Stars to do.

I definitely agree that sponsoring the tourney is a great thing for Stars to do, and I'm not complaining about a freeroll! Just trying to say that it's probably worth more for me to try and chip up early or just bust.

Got up over 4K, then paid a few bets with hands that were kicked, and paid good odds for draws that didn't hit. In other words, pretty standard stuff.
