Intially (first 1000 hands)i cleaned house, but jesus now sitting on 20k hands there and down 200bb, has me scatching my head. I wish paradise had some sort of RB.

i personally like the site and have done very well there
bought in for 1K got it up to 7K and still havent received 1st rakeback money (monthly), cleared 70% of $600 bonus and like playing w/ pros

dont find the site any more difficult than others

Well, just to keep in touch, I've been playing $1-$2 for about a week now, and am up $400. I would have been up more but I took a shot at $2-$4 today and played like a complete dimwhit.

I'm starting to understand why online poker is so much tougher than casino play. With you guys multitabling 4 tables, you can generate the same win rate at much lower stakes than you would play at the casino. Anyone who doesnt realize this is in for a rude awakening when they step into online play.

Overall I find the online play to be much tighter (this is not surprising, due to the lack of wait time between hands) and a little more aggressive. I am still pondering how I might adjust my own style to take advantage of these tendancies, but for the most part I am just trying to grind out a decent stake.

I can say I almost completely believe online poker is not rigged, at least at Full Tilt Poker.com. The hands play out like you would expect in the casino, for the most part, except for like maybe 5 strange hands I can recall in the couple thousand I have played.

I also have been quite humbled, as amassing this many hands alone with my computer really lets me reflect on what I'm doing and what I'm doing right and wrong.

I will continue to post my results as they arise.

You're playing at one of the tightest sites for low limits. If you're looking for looser games, you might want to check out a different site. There are definitely alternatives out there that have better 1/2 games and are more suitable for clearing bonuses at the 1/2 level.

I was kinda hoping that after the WSOP TV coverage, maybe everyone would see how deep Ivey got and some fish would flock over to FTP.


the fish are more likely to avoid playing pros.

this is their inherent marketing paradigm that i have always considered 100% flawed.

I don't know if that's the case though. A couple months ago I was watching Ivey play the high stakes NL game, and after being asked by one of the observers, he agreed to sit down at an empty 1/2 NL table. Within a minute of him sitting down, the table had filled and there were 40 people on the waiting list.

They might avoid playing at the same table.... but not the same site.... Full tilt is still a bit on the smaller side, but they are one of the fastest growing sites (percentage wise).

I don't find this to be true at all. The fishiest games on FTP come up when a pro sits down. I've seen the average VPIP on a 9 handed $15/$30 table (-myself and the pro) at 40% on many occassions, sometimes more.

i hear what all of you are saying, but the fact that the site is still dead after so long implies differently IMHO. the holdem lobby is incredibly sparse. kinda like all the sites in the old days when there were far fewer players online.

i think people give it a shot, run into good to great players, go broke, and never return.

the software and GUI are great and with the $$ they have spent on marketing, they should be #3 site.

one or two fishy 15-30's (sometimes None) does not a successful site make.
