Re: French cuffs on dressy casual shirts
I bought this one http://www.bananarepublic.com/Asset_...2-00p01v01.jpg the other day, not knowing it had french cuffs. (I was in a hurry for a shirt and just grabbed one).
I don't wear suits. Appropriate to wear this out? With Jeans? Khakis? Black pants? I only have one set of cufflinks and they are not flashy or anything. They are just metal with some industrial looking rivets in them. |

stupid. also, if banana republic think buttons and loud big stripes make for a classy shirt they are severly mistaken. i just see so many people go out wearing ugly striped shirts, ugh. [/ QUOTE ] You guys think we're playing tiddly-winks!? http://img438.imageshack.us/img438/7403/arieh5wr.png |

Are knots the same thing as studs (ie: used in place of buttons down the front of your shirt)? [/ QUOTE ] http://ai.pricegrabber.com/product_i...193976_640.jpg available in various colors, used as cuff links. |

[ QUOTE ] I think a lot of how pimp it looks depends on the cuff links/knots you wear. [/ QUOTE ] Are knots the same thing as studs (ie: used in place of buttons down the front of your shirt)? Re: French cuffs on dressy casual shirts
thats a great example. the other thing i hate are those (eurotrash) short sleeve shirts that are really tight and skin fitting, a lot of the time the have an imprint on them thats like a paint imprint, or some other stupid graphic. they also have a different material that gives the shirt two layers, and sometimes there are rips in it. this i hate. anyone know what i mean? its a big pet peeve, i'll look for an example.

pimp. 4 of my favorite shirts are french cuffs.
dblgutshot: yes it is acceptable to wear just out with nice jeans. that shirt looks nice as well. |

Re: French cuffs on dressy casual shirts
I'd definitly buy at least one of those shirts to wear out with a nice pair of jeans. I'd probably need to see those cuffs for myself before I shelled out any cashola, I don't understand what's tweaked about them.
