Hang in there. I played at these beginner tables and had a downswing at the beginning but eventually made out like a bandit. Just slow down and think. You are probably one of the best players at any table you choose.

If the tables are THAT loose with 7-8 people seeing the flop and 5 people seeing the river, you just have to play hands that play better multiway. Pocket pairs, suited broadways, suited connectors. These games should be really easy to make money from. Still raise preflop with your JJ and QQ hands, but if there are like 10 people to the flop you are pretty much hoping to make a monster hand. Your overpair will hold up once in a while but not as often, you have to really pay attention to the board texture.

IMO offsuit hands AJo or even AQo are pretty marginal in these types of games, as one pair type hands are not going to hold up often enough. You want hands that are going to be able win big pots.

EDIT: Your VPIP should be in the low-mid 20's you should be playing every pocket pair, every suited broadway and every suited connector at least 78s or above.

EDIT2: Play any suited ace and probably any suited king as long as you're sure it'll be multiway. Man I just got a boner.

You've got to push through downswings. I'm currently at these tables myself and they are a gold mine. I've taken them for 700BB at 1/2 over 11k hands. That includes a 4,000 hand 120BB downswing.

Basically I play a LOT more suited hands. You're guaranteed to get paid off well for almost any flush you catch. Any pocket pair can be profitable from any position as well.

Also, if i'm on the button and 5 or more people limp, I'll raise it up with Axs and most pocket pairs.

I play a ton more trashy suited hands as well. With 5 or more limpers I'm in there with Kxs and Qxs. At passive tables I'll play J9s from EP as well.

Just remember suited hands and pocket pairs go WAY up in value. High unsuited cards go down in value. With 5 or 6 limpers, don't raise AQ unsuited or lower.

Also, give up on blind stealing. Don't do it at these tables unless you are ABSOLUTELY positive the blinds are tight and will fold AND there is no one in between that will call.

And don't bluff unless the opportunity is presented to you on a silver platter.
