First, kill your wife to prevent her from being used for further insult material. Next, kill the guy's kids. Kill his wife. Kill his parents, everyone in his family, his friends. Burn down his house, his work, his car, anything else he owns. That'll make him think twice about insulting people.

It would seem pretty obvious what he did stands on it's own as being ridiculously jerkish.

What is your relationship with this guy/couple? From work? Random guy at bar?

As Dynasty mentioned more details here would at least begin to illustrate exactly what kind of response would be best.

Generally I don't really ever feel the need to do something hurtful to someone else. If I do it's on accident b/c I'm just a huge idiot.

It's not tough at all, you don't 'say' anything to someone like that.

You either beat them to a pulp, or walk away. Period.

Since I doubt you want to spend the night in jail for assult, I am guessing that walking away and not caring about words from some random stranger is the best course of action.

Or is that non-action?
