And some very healthy implied odds which is why you call with 94o in the first place. Which as as professional House Husband I am sure you understand.

Also when the blinds were 25/50 he missed the chance to limp in with 55. Standard move.

Have a nice trip to Cornwall??

I would actually like to see an hour of someone 4-tabling some mid levels cash games with some commentary. I think that would hit upon alot of the different types of hands that I have wondered how others play.

I think this is a good idea. I think many could benefit from seeing a successful 15/30 or 30/60 ring player multitabling as well, while offering commentary on what they are doing. I'm a winner at lower limits, but soemthing like that could possibly improve my game quite a bit. This is giving me ideas...

That would be pretty sweet. It's one thing to read about a correct play, it's another thing to see the situation for yourself and watch it done as it's supposed to be done.

I liked Nacarno's 94 call in the first one. Tom calls it a substandard call. What do you think?

[/ QUOTE ]

Although I am not a pro, I thought this was a horrible call. It was another 300 or so for him to call and at best he only at two live cards.

However, there must be something appealing about these types of hands because my most recent venture has been into short handed tournaments where it seems I will have a high pair 10 - AA and get cracked by something absolutely horrible. Just yesterday it was 2 handed and I had AA, I was raised on the button so I pushed all in. It was about 700 more chips to the original raiser and I was called with 8 2. He wasn't the short stack or high stack he was right in the middle but he still called. Now, I was very happy and that is who you want to play against but with luck being on my side the flop gave him two pair and I couldn't pull anything from the turn and river .

Just my 2c.

boy im dumb

I read the initial post too fast -- thought you were talking about multitabling tourneys.

I read "mid level cash games" as "multi-table tournaments" for some reason.

Ignore me -- I'm a moran.
