Goals for August - 500 $30+$3, 20%+ ROI

I played 503 SNG's; my first 87 were beyond sexy, the next 426 were break even.

Results - 10.2% ROI, 38.0% ITM, Finish Dist. 53/69/69.

I didn't have any goals. I only played 314 sngs which is really low for me (cause I was playing ring also). I did play golf 23 times though.

I switched over to Empire from Stars on 8/14.

Goal: Play as many 11's as possible in two weeks and change.

30% ROI
45% ITM

Actual:

23% ROI (Too many 2nd places and bubble leaks)
41% ITM

August goals... uh... was one to remember my goals? Failed there I guess.

August sucked. I didn't play much and when I did, it went badly. On the plus side, I got the pool fixed just in time for winter.

33's (4-tabling): N=155, ITM=33.55, ROI=1.46%
11's (8-tabling): N=93, ITM=35.48, ROI=<font color="red">-7.14%</font>
55's (1-tabling): N=2, ITM=0.00%, ROI=<font color="red">-100.00%</font>,
finish distribution at the 55's: 0/0/0/0/0/0/0/0/0/2

Multis: 2/6 in Bellagio super-sats, and a 4th in the satelite.[img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] In any event, <font color="red">-$90</font> worth of pure distilled donkitude.

Various ring games ???, <font color="red">-$14</font> in live play, not counting money won off people I know... rakeback too.

All told, +$266.62. At least it's a black number.

Goal:

1)play 100 SnGs (22s) with a reckognizable positive ROI
2)clear the ring bonii at 2/4 with 4BB/100

I had only the latter half of the month because of being on vacations.

Achievements:
1) played 140 SnGs with a reckognizable negative ROI (about -10%).

2) Got my ass handed back to me at the 2/4s (-10 BB/100 over 2000 hands), dropped back to 1/2 (+5 BB/100).

Finished the month at -280$.

This all is coming after having my first +1000$ month at $1750 in July.

Oh, I also visited a casino the first time in 12 months, brought $400 and took home $3000 from the slots. My goal now: never ever go back!

August Goals were:

survive at 20/40 and 30/60 limit.
(109's if that attempt fails)
play larger buy in mtt's ($100+)
work 40 hours per week
finally get HOH2 read, and reread Middle Limit Holden
stop and think at least 10 sec before every play at a mtt final table.

all but the 40 hours per week part have been fine. I won some money on the 1st day of the month, and after that never really got motivated enough to put in those kind of hours. I've averaged a little under 30/week.
