We are playing 7 handed at a club in Chicago.
No reads but these, only been at the table for an hour.Four of the guys are really solid players. One is a tricky player who is one of the best players I have played against. The last player is the reason I am in the game. I'd say he is a -1 BB/hour player.

Assuming a $10/hr/player collection, in order to make $20/hr you’d have to play as well as the other five guys.

where did I go wrong?

Way earlier than you think.

The best advice I can give to you is never to play in this game again.

I think your calendar is incorrect, mine says it's 7/17/05. Your's must be messed up it says 4/1/05 right? Only way this hand makes sense, or the bets are in pesos or something like that.

I generally learn more from reading others' opinions here, but this might very well have been the most poorly played hand in the history of these forums. Fold preflop, you have a baby suited connector in a shorthanded pot, on the flop you have no heart and no kicker, on the turn you are drawing to virtually nothing, and on the river I can see you beating absolutely nothing.

If you think you're going to represent a flush you might want to delay-bluff but even then a pair of aces will call you down unless the 4th heart hits the board.

You're clearly insane.

if all hands were shown at showdown, did the other players in the hand tell you - "I play it the same way."

cuz if they did, they were lying.

Either this hand is a joke or this is a classic case of someone reading Miller's book and completely misapplying it.

You are correct, most in this forum are humor-impaired.
