Re: a 9,9 poll

With two players involved in a raised pot I would call. Folding is okay and everything else sucks. I don't like minraises. It might mean someone sucks or they want to give you odds to call when they have AA. Or they want you to sense weakness and reraise them all in.

I voted fold...

-I think pushing as the third person into a pot given the stack sizes is crazy. I really want to be first in NOT third.
-it is going to be really tough to play post flop with two people in the pot.
-I am not really getting sufficient odds to call 'for set value'. Calling is not too bad I guess if you think you have decent implied odds (the initial 5-1 odds is not great though).
-I need two people to exit in order to cash. There is a really short stack and this looks like two bigger stacks may tangle. Why not let them beat each other up. The ICM calculation would be a lock fold if they were all in. They have a chance to get all-in later on in the hand, so I would consider this a factor as well.

I call

I'm pushing, BTW. I've got fold equity, and most likely the best hand.

Well, if you are playing soley for immidiate setvalue you can't call, but a flopped set is not the only good scenario for you.
You might flop an overpair with a OESD or SD, an overpair or just a pair and an OESD.
You might win win the pot with a small bet on the flop and you might just see the turn and/or river for free and sometimes it might even be checked to the end and you win the hand.
And if you do make a strong hand you will have some juicy implied odds.

Sure you can. Your implied odds here are at least 10:1.

Folding is extremely bad poker. It'd depend how I felt whether I just call or I push.

What I meant with my post was that you can't call here just for the immediate pot odds (to flop a set), but that the implied odds are very good and that there are more ways to win the pot then flopping a set.

I voted fold but only because "call" wasn't an option.

I refuse to vote , pushing is too wild, folding is horrible and a stop-n-go worst. Calling preflop is my option
