Basically for every one WSSHE reccomendation, we'll reccomend Play Poker Like the Pros 3 or 4 times.

Recently, someone told me "I bought a copy of that Hellmuth poker book for Mike". I plan to, but haven't read it, however I have heard about it. My first thought was "That may not be the best beginners book for you to learn from", but I actually said "That's great - I haven't read it yet."

I ordered this book with 3 others, are all these going to be shipped together or will i get the other 3 first? I made the order about a week ago so it seems like they are going to be shipped all together, but i am in the UK so the first 3 may have already been shipped?

Thanks.

Re: When will it available at Amazon proper?.

I tried to order from Amazon and it said it won't ship until about September or something so I cancelled hoping I could get it sooner somewhere. That Amazon price is great though

Ordered mine through Barnes and Noble online yesterday. My confirmation says the book will ship on July 28th. If I had seen this thread before today I would not have ordered through Barnes and Noble. I'm really looking forward to reading your book.

Are there any B&M stores that have it yet?

I called my local Borders today and they said it hasn't even shipped yet. I believe that I read earlier where it was stated that Borders would get the book before Barnes & Noble.

my borders store is expecting it to arrive "any day now. we have five on order." well, that was monday. today is friday. frustrated? yes, but only b/c i discovered the forum (and therefore the book) after the publishing date. so i thought borders would have it in a timely fashion, but whatever.

best part is, there is only one borders store in a 15 mile radius of milwaukee. they ordered only 5 books. i know, bad for ed, but good for the rest of us. ok, i'm done.

I just was at B&N today, They have the book, just not at the store I went to, so they ordered it for me and it should be here in 3 to 7 days.

i don't know....5 advanced orders for a book that isn't even out yet at just one store sure sounds like a lot to me.
i bet that's more advanced orders then HEFAP, WLLHE or PPLTP received.

and that's just the people who ordered it in advance...a lot more then that won't bother to order and will just wait for it to arrive on the shelves.

it sounds like the stores are having to field a bunch of calls from people wondering 'when the hell are you getting SSHE'.
i bet the employees are wondering 'what on earth is the big freaking deal with this SSHE book that we keep getting all these phone-calls about?'

demand like that ain't too shabby for a 24-year-old first-time writer.
