Wow John. I never thought you be for discrimination.

Some Suggestions

1) We call it the "Champions' Forum," like they do on the golf tour.

2) You'll need to prove you're over fifty to participate. We don't want the young 'uns criticizing our ancient ways. The good news is we get Sklansky, Malmuth, and Zee.

3) We can form an association, and try to get discounts on things (like tournament entry fees), like AARP does.

4) All B&M cardrooms should have seniors parking spots, right next to the handicapped spots, close to the entrances and exits.

This is such a good idea that it probably has no chance of happening.

Discounts I don't care about, I don't buy much. But guaranteed VIP parking is fantastic and IMO would attract customers.

My 14-year old is constantly harping on me to look for a closer parking spot. Man, I'm an AARP member with a bad back and leg and he can't walk as far as I can?

Rotten kids.

I've started to get promo stuff from the AARP and it sort of freaked me out That said, I like good deals on things so I'm sure to join. I thought you had to be 55?

PS If we get the "Over 50" forum I'd like to start a thread titled "Where do you get the best packaged or canned prunes?". The packaged ones I just got from Trader Joe's tasted darn good and the supermarket prunes my Father gave me earlier this year when I visited sure did the trick. I need a trick before tomorrow :.

Fortunately I'm not in need of prunes yet. But if you could find a deal on glucosamine ...

Maybe the reason for the bad back and leg is all the long walks in parking lots. It sounds like your son has learned from his father's mistakes

Sounds like he needs a kick in the ass to me.

Modest suggestions

Since we all lived through the 60's, instead of "calling for" an over 50 forum, we should issue a "non-negotiable demand."

If that doesn't work, we could fall back on an ADA suit. Surely being over 50 qualifies as a disability.

I'd call my lawyer if I could remember his name....nice kid in his 40's....maybe my wife knows.

Power to the People
