I don't live in the western Canadian provinces/territories but I wish I did for this reason:

This was a good local microbrew that Miller bought out and drove under :

Which leaves me with this, which I like a lot:

I doubt Spotted Cow is available in many other locals.

where is this local to? because their 60min/90min IPAs are my favorite beers in the world.

other local favorites from places I've lived:

boston: harpoon IPA. It isn't the greatest, but the fact that it's on tap in just about every bar in boston means it's my favorite

utah: uinta cutthroat, a mighty fine IPA. if you go to a liquor store get the uinta angler, same beer but higher alc.

rochester, NY (never really "lived" here but commuted there for about six months): empire purgatory pale

I'm not sure. I haven't looked for it for a while. I think it might be be available in northern Illinois. Also how about...

Dogfish head is in Delaware. Fantastic Beers. I had the oppurtunity to have their 120 min IPA and it was un-real.

About the only DFH I can get in Nashville are some bottles of Raison d'etre and World Wide Stout that have been mouldering since 03-04. I'm almost at the point where I'm going to order their other brews through liquidsolutions (mainly for the IPAs, I'm a huge hophead).

I can't find any of the WW stouts here, but ordering the IPAs is a good idea. Avery's IPA is also one of my favorites, and since your a hop head you have to try a Hop Devil from Victory.
