I think he might be talking about all the cold callers.

I cannot be sure though.

"Party Poker 20/40 Hold'em (6 max, 10 handed)"

Heh, that cracked me up. They redefining the meaning of "MAX" now?

No they aren't. Bison has just stopped caring about his converter.

What the hell? Maybe I should reinstall PP? It just goes from 30/60 to 15/30 and when I look at all the hold'em tables, it's not there.

Yep, reinstalled and I see it now.

I agree, but aren't they just following B&M convention with this? I guess the new 20/40 is going to play like the 30/60, but with less "live ones"?

[/ QUOTE ]
The only B&M 30/60 I've played was at Bellagio, which uses two $10 chips for the small blind.

[/ QUOTE ]
My local 30/60 has a $15 small blind (the game is played with a mix of red and greens). There is no real standard here. I've asked people there whether they would be interested in switching to a $20 small blind, but no one was. I guess it's a good sign that they all seemed baffled as to why anyone would care about the blind structure or bother changing. They stared at me like I had two heads when I mentioned the possiblity of 2/3 blinds.

While I'm on the subject, let me just note that the Chicago 40/80 B&M game, which use $5 and $25 chips (!), is about the most retarded thing I've ever encountered.

[/ QUOTE ]
It's better than just red. I've played in a 20/40 with a full kill that had nothing but red chips, so during the kill pots we were playing the game you describe but without the greens. I've also seen someone in the above-mentioned 30/60 game who had an overs button (to 50/100), but had nothing but hundreds of red chips and was playing the overs rounds using only reds.

Yea, I was in the 50 game on Sunday. 40-80 at Taj sucks because of the green and red. Rumor has it that Taj will soon spread the 40 and 80 games with $10 and $20 chips respectively in an attempt to battle the Borg. We shall see. Were you in the 50 game?
