I completely agree with you Jim. If you've read the entire thread @ casinomeister, you'll see that most feel this way (i've even argued about this with their rep).

I was just giving the OP a heads-up on how prima would react to this.

My Apologies

I apologize for my post. I suppose I owe an explanation as to why I made the post.

I want money on Poker Stars. It seems to be the best site. It's respectable... ect. I saw a "get an account and Prima and get $10" so I went to a Prima skin, made a name and ran the $10 up. I don't want the money on Prima, I want it on Stars. I am offering to some how get you the money. (I don't think they allow player to player transfers, but if they do, that's obviously better). Stars offers transfers and you could then transfer the amount to me.

I also would like to admit my ignorance of "chip dumping." I am a B&M player and rarely play online. I did not know Prima would deem it very illegal, as it would only involve two players in a heads-up room. Once again, sorry for my ignorance.

Sorry if my topic post was innapropriate or rude.

Thanks for reading.

If he gives you the money first- how can you truly be swindled (besides being cuaght for chip dumping?)

[/ QUOTE ]

If the money was dumped/transfered from a hacked account, dumped/transfered from a stolen credit card or Neteller type account or if the player charges back this purchase you could find out weeks down the road long after your money has been transfered. Chargebacks and player fraud much worse then people realize.

Player A deposits $xxx on a bogus account/credit card and goes to a table with player B and dumps it. Player B comes to the boards and says "I will trade $xxx at x room for $xxx at Y room" Even if he transfers this first when the rightful owner of the credit card charges back, or the rightful Neteller owner or bank account holder or whoever charges back your account will be locked and you will lose this money and possibly all of your money there. The poker room will assume you were a part of this fraud.

This is not to say all people who ask this are scammers but if you do not know them and get into this know what could happen. Just because you got your money now doesnt mean you have heard the last about it. Not everyone is as honest as you on the internet.

Re: My Apologies

Two things. First, sites don't like chip dumping since it could be used to money laundering. Second, why don't you just make that initial deposit into the Prima room and than withdrawl?

I saw a "get an account and Prima and get $10" so I went to a Prima skin, made a name and ran the $10 up.

This money probably has some sort of 10x raked hand requirement before a cashout. As soon as you dump this money they will know and if you try to transfer it I am sure either they will deny it or tie the receiver to the raked hand requirement. Also they may require you to prove your identity to make sure you have never taken any of the Primas up on the $10 offer before (im pretty sure you can only hit one of them for a free $10), if you have or gave them a bogus name then they will deny your entire cashout and keep the money. Maybe this is the whole issue.

Here is what you should do. Cash it out to Neteller, it may take a few days but it will al lbe legit and you dont have to worry about someone else taking your money either. This is another warning. If you come here asking for this and send the money first you risk getting screwed. I have seen this several times on RGP by the same sleaze. You have as much to risk as the other end.

Sorry if I am beating a dead horse, I will stop now.

All of your arguments are well stated and I agree with you.
