I hated it. Messing about with twodimes your EV is marginal, though.

You should call and if you get a J-high flop, use it to your advantage....

Re: Im sure you all will hate this

Lots of stuff on my mind here I guess. I did not know this player who raised in the SB. He looked to be passive, as this was the first time I believe he had raised preflop in about 3 or 4 orbits. Therefore I thought he had an even bigger hand than a normal sb who raises the field.

Secondly, my hand will make second best a lot, and I will almost for surely have to raise on all flops I continue on because of the 5 players left to act behind me. Now I know I play well enough to flop an ace or a jack high flop and not pay it off, no matter how big the pot is. But when I play online a lot of times I will resort to the "well its online he might be a donk" and hope he has the 85 of hearts.

Third my relative posistion is terrible. If it comes jj5 kq10 or any other flop that i make a huge hand on i for surely will have to raise to knock the field out in this huge pot and kill all my action. If he woulda raised on the button I woulda called for sure. Also FWIW for all you guys that think im the biggest nit ever I woulda called with the 10s6s without a second thought.

I guess really thats about it, I just think the call cause your getting 13-1 theroy isnt strong enough to discount the times where your position sucks, your posistion relative to the raiser sucks, and your never goona know where your at.

One other thing

Remember in HPFAP where they say hands like A10o lose money in multiway pots? Isnt this the primary case? Oh and last thing. With AJo we're looking to make a pair. You wouldnt call here with A8o would you? Whats the difference if the guy always has jj or better?

A - Aren't your odds doubled in this situation from the BB compared to overcalling in the other one?

B - Wouldn't you be calling knowing you need a lot better than a pair?

Re: I agree with the fold.

i know i will get many shots for my thoughts. this is a clear fold preflop. you are probably dominated, and 2nd best costs you $. out of position (yes position on the sb), not suited, vs this many, good fold.

We need fewer posts where the discussion is about (correctly) calling with AJo and then someone then compares it to some ludicrous holding since, I don't know, AK > AJ and AK > 52, therefore, AJ must be roughly equal to 52.

Exactly....the SB makes his continuation bet and you auto-raise..hopefully,you get some doofus who limped with JT or 99 along for the ride.

As another poster said, yo don't have to get a miracle flop to play this flop aggressively.

And with som many peopleseeing the flop in a raised pot, you're going to get odds to continue on the flop and turn if you get a favorable draw.

Bad fold,IMO.
