I got the Complete New Yorker dvd-set thingie. It's sweet. I guess I got some fancier stuff, but this was my favorite. All issues from vol.1 #1 in 1925 to Feb. 2005. Everything's searchable, draggable, zoomable, you name it. Technology is so cool....

It's actually a birthday/Christmas/I'm paying for a chunk of it, but I thought I wouldn't get it for a few more days. My mom pulled the keys out of my stocking and it was sitting in my driveway, complete with one of those enormous bows. Sweet.

My GF got me an AMD 64 3800+ dual core/motherboard/2GB ram combo so I would stop complaining about lag when running PT and 8+ pokerroom windows. And DragonQuest VIII!

I got random boxes of cash, which was pretty cool, but the make your own beer set seemed sweet as well. For the first time in like 4 years I made something homemade for the mother and she loved it, made the corny, immature gift making seem worth it.
