And to keep it off? [censored], there's a formula. I have to look around the interweb for it. You should use something like fitday.com to keep track of it. (it's free). It's a lot more then what you think, you just want to keep it at a healthy balance (that's the hard part). But eating 900 calories a day will slow your metabolism to a [censored] crawl. Very unhealthy, and whatever weight you do lose will come back immediately. I'll find the formula, and post it or PM you with it. Maybe start a thread.


Edit: Here's the link that does it for you. The actual math calculation is all over Men's Health, or any other diet website. It's a percentage of your body mass x's your activity level. The total calories are what you would need to eat to sustain your weight. Subtract 500 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week; 1000 to lose 2 pounds. (2 pounds is the max for effective weight loss supposedly) Anything less then your total - 1000 can definitely slow down your metabolism to the point where your body just adjusts and you don't lose anything.

I believe I will be doing the breakfast for lunch thing today. Two eggs over easy with hashbrowns mixed with ground sausage, tomatoes, peppers and onions. All at the famous Key's Cafe and Bar in beautiful downtown Minneapolis.

NO NO NO NO! Balance dude. set up a fitday account; keep it to within 40/30/30 (carbs/protein/fat) --there is room for a cheeseburger once in a while, and you'll lose what you want to lose.
