In my experience not too many villains will bet $130 into a $25 pot with AJ.

Hero has less than 50 bucks left on the table the villian could make the bet 1 million dollars and it would not matter. If hero has 130$ on the table I think this would be an easy fold.

Hand 2. Well played but yeah I fold this. If for no other reason, because I'm going to see his cards anyway

Re: Interesting Hands

1: Fold it UTG, it's not a hand you want to take OOP. As played, you want to check behind on the turn, essentially telling villian: "Hey, I tried to make a play for the pot on the flop, but you called me. Feel free to bet all your chips on the end" Checking behind induces a bet or at least a check/call when you hit on the river. In either case, I think the river will play itself.

2: Depending on the player, I think a loose call might be in order... if he's a solid player, I'll let it go, otherwise I'll put my chips in; it appears as though he doesn't *want* a call, right?

This table was ridiculously donkish (and really passive preflop) so I was limping in with generally inferior hands. Anyway:

Hand #1:
Villian calls and shows AsJs.

Hands #2:
Villian1 shows QQ
Villian2 shows J8

Re: Interesting Hands

hand one, don't try to push donks off of hands. By the turn you're only about 1 in 3 to win the hand vs a pair and likely don't have any fold equity.
