Even better, then raise more. Thinning the field is only one of the functions of a raise. If you're at a table where the other players routinely call raises w Ax and worse it is criminal not to raise AK. JMO

Normally at these stakes (online at least) you will both have ~$200. I would bet the flop/turn as you did, and on the river bet ~1/4-1/3 pot and fold to a raise. With stacks like these, it sucks to check that river because he can throw a sizable bet(bluff?) at you when he senses weakness.

Yeah. I check or switch up my betting pattern with a very weak looking bet on blank rivers when it's very likely my opponent, with position, was drawing. Then, BOOM! It's over.
