Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
Clear shove, I don't like any other play.

Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
Something I forgot to mention, I pushed the hand before and picked up the blinds.
This change anything? |

JJ+ weren't folding anyway but now you're more likely to get a call from a lower pair. I am basically shoving here no matter what. |
Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
I think anyone's who doesn't suggest shoving here probably has the 10 BB "rule" in mind. Sometimes you open shove 12+ BB. Here folding should obviously be far too weak, raising commits you, and limping is just...not my style ya heard. I push this with the quickness.

Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
Could we not make it 300 and call a push with the ole "get weaker hands to play all-in against us" routine? Lots of people at this level will fold 66 to your push but come over the top with it 100% of the time.
I normally push here too but I'm letting this idea float around in my head. |
Re: ($22): Another TT hand.
Sure, as long as you're willing to call a push on the flop getting 2-1. I just hate it when you raise, BB calls with 66 and then pushes a QJ4 board.
I think lots of players will still be glad to call an all-in with a smaller pair, and stuff like A8s. I'd just try to get my money in here and hope I get called by something I dominate...and I'm not going to let KJ see a relatively cheap flop. With QQ I'm still open shoving for sure, AA/KK I might think about getting tricky if the table's not particularly loose, but generally still just shove and hope for a call (which comes more often than you'd think). |
