I like this, i might have to give it a try some time. This bet looks like a "please don't call me" bluff as well, i think alot of the players who are good enough to reconize this, will probably call with a bad Q anyway. Lots of bad players over bet pots, get called, and then in desperation push in with the rest of there money with junk in fear of getting "caught".

The slight overbet is ok, but you dont have to push when it comes back to you imo, just make a normal reraise or wait to the turn. If it was two of a suit I kinda like your play because SB might call with a weak queen putting you on a flush draw. As played in this hand I think even a bad player can get away from a weak queen on this flop sometimes.

The point of my post was the use of the initial overbet on the flop. The hand I included was against a TERRIBLE player (maybe I should have mentioned that) that I knew was not folding a queen. But most players will usually just call your flop bet (you know - to be tricky) and raise you on the turn, at which point it is easy to get it all in.

Fairly standard play at low levels. Overbets like this can trigger a reaction without thinking of the other persons hand. They look into their own hand and think AQ goot!!

If you know your table is fairly loose, this kind of trap play works quite well. Not to mention getting your money in while ahead, before that next card brings a Q and suddenly you are on the smaller end of a boat.
