It may be, but I'm not sure (and I'm not trying to be cute with this response).

It is a response to what I see as an increase in the volume level of those posters who advocate and support an ideology that has many of the trappings of the facist qualities disscussed in the link that I gave.

FWIW, I try to not put people into 'ideological pigeonholes'. It is sometimes difficult, if not impossible to do that.

It seems to me that when we do (and most of us do it to a greater or lesser degree), it is very easy to get caught up in a persons' ideological or political general position instead of listening to the specifics of what they're saying.

A filter of sorts, you may say, except this 'filter' works in reverse.....it obfuscates instead of clarifying.

You could make this point about the Democrats, too. Any government control of business is the same.

....absolutely.

For the record, IMO, both parties are major participants of this practice.
