Agree with Webster, I read that blog every time it's updated, and it's always a great read. Party just plays differently than other sites I've been at. But that's because it's a different playerbase, not because their software gives everyone else but me good cards.

"He won't accept my arguments, mostly cause I dont have any facts to back them up."

That's OK. No one does.

Blanket belief in the honesty of online poker is just like being a born again Christian. Ya just gotta take it on faith.

I wouldn't bother.

Or I'd play him HU.

Whenever you have a discussion, make sure to set the understanding that you are only "defending" the larger poker sites. Assure him that you agree there is more risk at small online casinos ... because anyone reading the CASINOMEISTER website sees that there are problem companies.

What can often happen is that you are speaking/thinking of powerhouses like PokerStars, PokerRoom, PartyPoker, etc. which have reputations on the line in the entire (incl. "live") poker scene. And they are thinking of the set of all online casino and poker room operators. There is a huge difference in credibility between PokerStars and "Fred's Backyard Poker Site."

When some people (not all) are convinced a site is rigged, it is very hard to convince them otherwise because they have spent weeks/months only seeing evidence to support their belief.

Many people say "don't even bother dude," but for every "IT'S RIIIIGGGGEEDDD" zealot are a few new, casual players who see the rumors in online poker table chat boxes and become concerned.

Many of us posting on this forum are technically-savvy, and it is easy to forget that lots of people playing online poker for fun are not nerds who know anything about RNGs, algorithms, or how complex/unprofitable/risky/stupid rigging dealt hands might be. They go to work at Widget Factory Co and come home and play a few hands a week. So it isn't unreasonable for many of those people to worry when they hear speculation and gossip from wild-eyed poker chatters who sure sound like they know what they're talking about.
