Oh, and how you played it, I fold the river. He aint betting with anything you beat. A bluff almost always check raises.

Thanks for the reactions! Indeed threre aren`t many outs if he has an A. But because of my PF raise with KQ Suited, which i raise quite often especially in MP and LP, i think i had to be agressive at the flop too.

On second thoughts it is quite obvious at 6 max that someone has an A. So that i could better call down the board. Or when I raised the flop to check the turn and check-call the river.

Tried to edit my original but apparently I can't.

I didn't realize this was 6max. My advice was based on full ring, which may or may not apply here.

You might just surprise yourself with how much full ring applies to 6 max.

Its not about whether has the A. 6max is all about seeing showdowns. You'll be good a decent % of the time here, so why put in bets if you're behind?

I usually play it exactly the same. And I aint too sure that's a good thing. Villian usually turns over a weak ace and I feel like an idiot.

Call as he keeps betting into you. Reasons:

1) If we raise now, we may push him off worse hands, including Qx.

2) Raising gives him a chance to 3-bet.

3) We want a cheap showdown, and all the outs we can see vs Ax.

4), and this is the key: There's no scary cards to come. No overcards, no draws, so we're not concerned about pushing draws or anything. Cheap cards are fine by us.

I agree w/all of this...

I don't agree w/this...

Depending on reads, I'll make this play if I KNOW villian is passive enuf to fold to this scare card. And I've seen others make the same play. I agree it usually means I'm beat but I'm getting to the point where I always make the call. (and usually get shown the weak A. )
