Try the local YMCA or Salvation Army. They have low rates too

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George builds a bed under his desk.

Maybe they would let you set up a cot with an IV drip in the poker room, so you wouldn't have to walk ever again.

Plus, aren't there bums in AC who do this already (except without the room)?

A really good poker rate in a casino is like $40 a night (most are more) figure you earn comps and can pay for a few nights a month with those, add back in the holiday nights and peak weekend nights you can't get a poker rate and you might be able to average at best $40 a night but probably closer to $60. So for around $1200 to $1800 per month you could do this, I'm pretty sure you can rent a decent place in AC or Vegas for much less than this.

Replace your Christmas morning rolling out of bed with some nice mind clearing, game face prepping, coffee induced driving to the casino and you have a better plan.

I know a 5/10 NL player that lived at Wynn for 2-3 months. He paid the regular poker rates every night so it was pretty expensive.

Hey, he didn't have to make his bed. And all those little freebie bottles in the bathroom? All that counts for something, don't it?

ehhhemmm...but then you wouldn't be able to roll out of bed in your PJs, hop on the elevator, and ding! When the gold doors open have all those juicy poker games spread out before you. It'd be like christmas morning every day!

I saw a thing on the travel channel on casino whales and one profile was on "The Pajama Brothers" - they would sleep at the tables, pillows and all (power naps) so they wouldn't miss many bets.

It is done occasionally. Although you can't stay in one room for more than 30 days. They have to move you to another one.

What is the reason behind this rule if anyone knows?

I'll give you bottled water everyday and you give me $3K at the end of the month I'll even toss in a free bed!
