just get your money in because you don't want QQ or JJ bluffing you off the pot if an ace hits. Then you say "i'm committed anyway so i'd call", so just get your money in while you can. If you had a deeper stack, I can see calling making good sense because an all-in reraise w/ deep stacks is just asking for you to get called by only when you are beat (AA). Your stacks are small, you have him right where you want him.

No, because in the instances that he check folds an undercard flop, you'll bemoan the fact that you didn't find a way to get all of his chips in pf.

Probably doesnt happen in this instance, but generally this is results oriented thinking.
