i got 3x the bonus of my best friend that i work with. he's been there 6 years, i've been there 6 months. we're very open about salary and stuff but i lied about the size of my bonus. not because i knew he'd resent me but because i knew i'd have to hear him keep on bitching about how much the company effs him.
