Hmmmm----I never thought about 'waiting' to hit the case card. How do you get it to hold off til the river? Heck how do you get it to come at all? I think I have been doing something wrong.

Good Problem hand. I'm not sure what the right answer is or whether there is a right answer. It occurs to me that if you decide to re-raise, the raiser may 3-bet to get the bring-in out,& you can 4-bet it, tying him into the hand. Looks like you made a nice hit when you took a shot. Good job.

Against competent ones, I'd just call the raise on third and wait to pop it until later. Playing short against good players, I sometimes will wait as long as until sixth to raise if they are showing aggression.
