The OP was implying there was more going on here than what we read.

Based on my friends that like GWAR, they're far from the long hair metal type. They're nerds. That was basically my impression of most GWAR fans.

To clarify a few things that I forgot in the OP:

1 - He didn't just flip off the lead singer, he left his arm up, giving him the bird for the entire set as of thus far.

2 - When people told him to calm down, he would tell them to f*ck off, and was creating more problems

3 - I feel the rest of the crowd's dislike for this man is based off of how:
- most people in the crowd were big fans of the band
- the band was from New Orleans.

there are many people in punk and heavy music circles that consider the, "bird" as a sign of respect...this guy may have been a prick, or he may have been having a good time. throwing the girl sucks, but she was in a pit, and that could easily be misconstrued as well.

it doesn't sound to me like this guy deserved to get stomped, so I think your play was the right one. he got thrown out, and less hurt than he would have otherwise...everyone makes out a little better in the end.

It sounds like he responded to her frequent ("after some time he has enough") assults on him.

I'm not saying he was in the right, I'm just saying that getting stomped out isn't exact the most just response to what he did.
