WTF? Everybody else can rebuy, too, for crying out loud. And no one else has come close to this guy's record in PLO. I mean, geez, give the guy some credit.

all the plo events except for this yrs 10K have been rebuy. consiering you can take a double add-on you can buy your way to a fairly healthy stack. at least half the field does not invest too heavy (one or zero rebuys)
i dont have any knowledge of how much williamson rebuys. just saying it is alot easier to make it closer to the end than the hold em events if your willing to rebuy alot. even dumb who cant play omaha made it pretty far with some aggressive rebuying.

I won't be a jerk and ask for your facts about the amount of rebuys. But the rebuy tourney I played in (where RW III was to my right) I heard rebuy more than I heard the chips being shuffled.

RW III did rebuy a lot but like I said there were so many others that did the same. My guess would have been that there were more than just 1 add on or rebuy on the average.

i played in two of the events thats how i know. as long as you are guaranteed to rebuy once and take the double addon. you are guaranteed a stack of 8000 when if you take no rebuys at all you start with 2K. i probably played at three tables and there were probably 3 people rebuying aggressively with most not at all. Thats all im saying.

I guess there were just a lot more rebuys at the one I was at.

Me too. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the WSOP this year. He was obviously dejected that he had just got knocked out of the $5000 PL Holdem tourney but was nice enough to talk to me for a bit as we were standing in line to get to the cage. Definitely a classy guy who doesn't get enough recognition.

ditto classy guy I got knocked out by him a few years ago in a low buyin for him $500. Drew out on me but one of the few "sorry's" that was actually genuine.

I played a hand terribly against him. He cracked my AA with 5-9 getting an 8 on the river for a straight. He gave me the old "I'm sorry it was you but I'm glad it was me line".

I think he's one of the most under appreciated players in the poker circuit these days... this guy is just absolutely amazing.
