Agreed. I was looking for opinions beyond the basic math though. Not that I'd mind a PT check, don't have it myself quite yet.

Also, if it matters any, until the overbet on the river I put him on the flush draw. He didn't push at the end, had to reevaluate. If he had been on the draw that would've been the first time (this early anyway) I saw a missed flush do anything but check/fold or push all in.

I figured he couldn't have one of the top kickers with a pair of kings, he didn't raise preflop. He couldn't have chased the diamond flush if he was flush chasing, it went runner runner. So, he either had another bad king, or a worse pair (pocket or no). I was willing to bet it was the worse pair, or that either way my kicker won it.

You have me convinced. Good call, welcome to the forum.

I don't think you should get into a habit of calling down river bets like this. Of course it is read dependant but in my experience you'll see a set or another hand that beats your more often than not. I have seen a lot of players make big bets on the river after calling the flop and turn trying to get you to call under the assumption that they are trying to steal the pot away.

Well, there's one absolute opinion that's worth noting that makes this a good potential call. It's a full table, all the donkeys are still here. Looks like you found one.
